Realme Launches Watch S5 in India with AMOLED Display, GPS and 20-Day Battery Life

realme has expanded its wearable portfolio in India with the launch of the Realme Watch S5, a feature-rich smartwatch aimed at fitness enthusiasts and everyday users seeking premium features at a mid-range price point.

Priced at ₹7,999, the Realme Watch S5 brings several upgrades over previous models, including a bright AMOLED Display, built-in GPS, advanced health monitoring capabilities, and an extended battery life. The smartwatch is available in Rock Grey and Sand White color options and is being sold through online and offline retail channels across India.

The Realme Watch S5 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a circular design and high brightness for improved outdoor visibility. The watch is housed in an aluminum alloy frame and comes with a removable silicone strap, giving it a premium yet lightweight feel.

One of the key highlights of the device is its independent GPS support with compatibility for multiple satellite navigation systems. This allows users to track outdoor activities such as running, cycling, and hiking without carrying a smartphone.

For fitness tracking, the smartwatch supports more than 110 sports modes and includes advanced workout metrics such as VO2 Max analysis, recovery tracking, and automatic exercise detection. The device also offers continuous heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, sleep analysis, Stress Monitoring, and women’s health features through the Realme Link app.

On the connectivity front, the Watch S5 supports Bluetooth Calling, message notifications, weather updates, alarms, and customizable watch faces. Realme has also included an Always-On Display mode and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for a smoother user experience.

Battery performance remains a major selling point of the smartwatch. Realme claims the Watch S5 can deliver up to 16 days of regular usage and up to 20 days in power-optimized modes. The device is powered by a 460mAh battery and supports magnetic charging.

The smartwatch carries a 5ATM water-resistance rating, making it suitable for swimming and everyday exposure to water and sweat.

With the Watch S5, Realme is strengthening its position in India’s competitive smartwatch market, where consumers increasingly demand premium features such as GPS tracking, long Battery Life, and comprehensive health monitoring at affordable prices.

Industry observers believe the launch could intensify competition in the sub-₹10,000 wearable segment, where brands continue to focus on balancing functionality, design, and value for money.
